Terms of service
Plain terms, stated up front.
Last updated: July 5, 2026
1. Who this is
This site and the services behind it are operated by Skylar Sabo, an independent, named operator ("I", "me"). These terms cover the public site at skylarsabo.com, the client portal at portal.skylarsabo.com, and — unless a separate written agreement says otherwise — paid diligence engagements.
2. What the service is, and is not
A capital-safety diligence engagement is a fixed-scope professional review: measured evidence pulled from public sources, checked against named kill-criteria, ending in a written verdict (GO, GO-WITH-CONDITIONS, or KILL) that I personally sign.
It is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything, not a security audit, and not a guarantee of safety. A verdict is a professional opinion about a specific target, formed from what was measurable during a specific window, under stated criteria. Markets, venues, and code move after the as-of date. What was not measured is reported as UNKNOWN — and UNKNOWN means exactly that, not "probably fine."
3. Live data on this site
The live funding boards and charts on this site and in the portal are read from public venue APIs and shown as-is, for information. They can lag, gap, or go dark; when a feed does not answer, the display says UNKNOWN rather than showing a stale number. I do not warrant the accuracy or availability of third-party venue data, and nothing on the live boards is a signal to trade.
4. Engagements
Scope, price, and timeline for each engagement are those stated for the package at the time of booking, or in a separate written agreement — which controls if it conflicts with these terms. I may decline or refund an engagement I cannot complete honestly. Delivered reports state their own scope and limits; anything outside that stated scope was not reviewed.
5. Reports and their use
A delivered report is for the client's internal use — their team, their investment committee, their records. Sharing it outside that circle, publishing it, or quoting its verdict publicly requires my written permission. Verifying a report's checksum on the verify page is always allowed and encouraged. Sample reports published on this site may be shared freely with attribution.
6. Portal accounts
Portal access is set up through a one-time invite link and protected by a password you choose. Keep it private; you are responsible for activity under your login. Tell me promptly if you believe your access has been compromised and I will rotate it. I may suspend access that is abusive, shared, or used to attack the service.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to breach, overload, scrape, or probe this site, the portal, or the API; do not attempt to access other clients' engagements. The public funding feed on the marketing page is offered for reading, not for bulk harvesting.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: the service is provided as described but without further warranties; I am not liable for trading or allocation losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from the site, the live data, or a report; and my total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees actually paid for that engagement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
I may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change when I do. Material changes to an active engagement's terms will be communicated directly. Continued use of the site or portal after a change is acceptance of it.
10. Contact and disputes
Questions, complaints, or notices: use the contact form (note “Terms / legal”) or, for active engagements, the portal message thread. If we end up in a genuine dispute, we will first try to resolve it directly and in good faith; failing that, it belongs in the courts of the operator's place of residence, under the law that applies there.
